"Climate Change and Communities: The Human Toll of Climate Change" Description: Climate change is already impacting the world's most vulnerable communities. Join Oxfam America and three speakers representing three continents for "Climate Change and Communities: The Human Toll of Climate Change". You'll leave with an entirely new perspective on climate change and the need to ensure the world's most vulnerable communities will have access to the resources needed to adapt. Guests: Meena Raman, Chairperson of Friends of the Earth International and past president of Friends of the Earth Malaysia. Joyce Patience Tembenu, farmer and social justice activist from Malawi. Moderated by J. Drake Hamilton, Science Policy Director for Fresh Energy. When: Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Program begins at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:15 PM.
