teacher who is currently in Minnesota being fitted for an artificial leg

Forum: Meet Anti-War Activists Targeted by FBI Intimidation
Thursday, November 4, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. @ St. Luke Church, 3121 Groveland
School Rd., Minnetonka (Childcare provided.)

The FBI raided five homes and the office of the Anti-War Committee in
late September and handed subpoenas to testify before a federal grand
jury (convened in Chicago ) to 14 activists in the Twin Cities. The grand
jury subpoenas have been suspended, but could be reinstated at any time.
Individuals targeted include women aged 29 to 71. Four are parents of
children ranging in age from 18 months to 6 years of age. One is a member
of the WAMM Board. All have been involved in local peace and justice
activities. On Thursday hear directly from those whose personal
possessions were confiscated (yet to be returned) during FBI raids and
whose legal activism is being challenged by recently expanded federal
