Slow connections for some customers this morning

Dear Tiger Technologies Customer,

Since 7:03 Pacific time this morning, our data center has been having intermittent connection problems to one of the Internet "backbones" that serves comcast.net and some other ISPs.

(A "backbone" routes data between different ISPs. When someone connects to our servers, the data goes from their ISP, through one or more backbone companies, then to our data center.)

Because of this, a small but significant number of people (particularly those using comcast.net cable modem service) have been experiencing slow connections to our servers. The connections can occasionally even be slow enough to "time out".

The engineers at our data center are working to identify the root cause of this problem, and we expect the issue to be resolved shortly. We'll send an update when the problem is resolved.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope this explains the issue if you're affected by it.

We appreciate your business. Please let us know if you have any questions!
